Symondshyde was the most commented on proposal by far, with around 400 responses, almost all opposing the plan. We were hugely impressed by the quantity and quality of objections that supporters sent in, particularly in light of the complexity of Welwyn Hatfield’s process.
Having considered the written responses to the 2016 public consultation, the Inspector will identify the specific matters in the Plan that he wishes to publicly examine. At that stage, with the help of a planning consultant, we expect to be able to submit further technical evidence.
